Rail tunnel

Imphal, September 26 2013:
Going ahead with the task of laying the rail track from Jiribam to Imphal, the Northern Frontier Railways has managed to dig a tunnel more than three kilometres long.
According to information received from the Railways the tunnel connects Keimai and Dolakhal and added that work on the tunnel started in April 2011.The tunnel was dug at a cost of Rs 250 crore by two companies, namely, CPL and HCL.
