Mega health camp conducted

Ukhrul, March 02 2015:
Ukhrul Deputy Commissioner, Modak Hrisheekesh inaugurated a five-day mega health camp at Comprehensive Health Services and Research Centre (CHRSC) Hospital, Hamleikhong, Ukhrul today, Mungchan Zimik reports.
The camp is being organised jointly by CHRSC and CIHSR, Dimapur.
Free OPD consultation, general surgery, general medication and pediatric services will be given to BPL card holders during the camp.
Dr Nelson, Director, CHRSC and Dr Soror Raleng, general surgeon, CIHSR, Dimapur along with their respective medical teams will provide 24x7 services during the five days health camp.
The Deputy Commissioner, during his speech at the inaugural event, lauded CHRSC for providing free health benefit, particularly to Myanmar Nationals from border areas and BPL card holders.
Speaking at the occasion Dr Nelson said the regular fees of the hospital will be reduced during the camp.
CHRSC will also host a Continued Medical Education CME programme on the last day of the camp, Dr Nelson informed.
