COVID-19: Newly married groom tests positive

Thoubal, May 10 2021:
A newly married groom was found COVID-19 positive today.
The groom is a doctor from Thoubal Wangmataba Hawaibam Leirak who is currently doing an intern in a clinic in Imphal.
He was married yesterday as the date had already been fixed.
His swab sample was sent to RIMS for testing and the test result came out positive, yesterday.
According to information from the District Disease Surveillance Office, all those who attended the marriage ceremony have been traced.
They will be tested after 5 days.
The bride is from Yairipok.
