Imphal, August 27 2015:
People of the State have already started to feel the pain of shortage of petroleum products after the two National Highways connecting the State have remained cut off for days.
The major landslide at Phesama along the National Highway 2 section of Imphal-Dimapur road and the damage of the Barak bridge along the National Highway 37 have hampered transportation of essential commodities.
A source said that people in the State will soon be facing acute shortage of fuel as more than 10 days are likely to take while restoring the traffic.
