Ban on Noney lifted

Imphal, February 25 2014 :
The non cooperation movement declared against Longmai (Noney) village by Zeliangrong Youth Front (ZYF) in the aftermath of physical assaults on ZYF leaders on 12th December, 2013 has been lifted following a clarification made by the village disowning the incident and the accused persons involved in the incident expressed regret and sought pardon for their misdeed, according to a statement issued by General Secretary of the Front David Kamei.
The Front has also expressed gratitude to everyone for extending cooperation and support towards the ZYF endeavour of bringing social reformation, change and justice.
