Cleanliness drive conducted at Indo-Myanmar border under Swachh Bharat Mission

Tengnoupal, September 21 2019:
Officials of India and Myanmar in association with various CSOs conducted a cleanliness drive at 'No Man's Land' between Indo-Myanmar border today since morning under 'Swachh Bharat Mission' and 'Swachhta Hi Seva Campaign' launched by the PM across the country in connection with the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
CO Sumit Sood of 43 Assam Rifles led the Indian side along with other officers and CSOs in the drive while the Myanmar side was led by DC Tamu Kyaw Win Oo along with immigration officials, officials of Tamu Fire Service, Police, Myanmar Army and NGOs.
