MHJU demands apology

Imphal, December 27 2011:
While denouncing the behaviour of IPR Minister TN Haokip, the President of Manipur Hills Journalists' Union (MHJU), a press statement of the union signed jointly by its Secretary S Nengkhanlun and Vice President Onjamang Haokip demanded an apology from the minister.
In the statement, MHJU alleged that the Minister abused the President of MHJU when the later met the Minister at his office in Imphal in connection with a proposed Internal Press Tour cum Refresher Course to Moreh Trade Centre.
Until and unless the Minister tenders an apology within two days, MHJU will boycott the Minister, the statement further added.
