Truck loaded with poultry feed catches fire near Kambiron village

Jiribam, March 27 2019:
A Tata truck loaded with poultry feed (Murgi Dhana) was totally burnt after it suddenly caught fire near Kambiron village in Nungba Sub-division, Noney District at around 6.30 am today.
The truck, bearing registration number AS 24C-6083, was heading for Imphal from Jiribam when the incident occurred near Kambiron village on NH-37, said truck driver Paral Singh.
Sources said that the cause of the fire is still not yet known but on one was hurt in the incident.
Nungba police registered a case in connection with the incident after they rushed to the spot to assess the damage.
