AMUCO appeals to end communal clash in Assam

Imphal, July 27 2012:
With the death toll in the communal clash between the Bodos and the minority Muslim migrants in Assam rising to 40, All Manipur United Clubs' Organisation (AMUCO) has called for ending the clash and also urged the Assam Government to provide sufficient food items, healthcare and safe drinking water to over 2 lakhs people who taking shelter at various relief camps.
In a press release, Asst Secretary Publicity of AMUCO Brojen Irom observed that such communal clashes are outcome of failure to restrict inflow of outsiders in time.
