Commemorating the day when the controversial phrase "Without Territorial Limit" was scrapped off from the Cease Fire Agreement signed between NSCN-IM and Government of India, All Club, Organisation, Association, Meira Paibi (ACOAM) Lup observed Integrity Protection Day at Lamyanba Shanglen, Palace Compound here today.
The function was attended by Chandramani Khuman, Working President of ACOAM Lup; Ima Y Leirikleima, President of Kanglamei and H Kula, Advisor of ACOAM Lup as presidium members.
Y Nabachandra, President of UCM; Ratan, Vice President of HERICOUN and Yumnamcha Dilipkumar, former President of UCM were also present as Special Invitees.

Delivering the key note address of the observance function, Sanjit Soraisham, Secretary General in-charge of ACOAM Lup, recalled that in the June 18 incident, many people led down their lives for the sake of protecting the territorial integrity of Manipur.
It was their sacrifices that compelled the Union Government to scrap the controversial phrase "Without Territorial Limit" from the Cease Fire Agreement signed between NSCN-IM and Government of India on July 27, 2009 .
Remembering this day, ACOPAM Lup has been observing July 27 as Integrity Protection Day ever since.
Speaking on the occasion, Y Nabachandra said that it was because of strong public pressure that the Central government scrapped the controversial phrase "Without Territorial Limit".
Nonetheless, we still have a long way to go and all the Civil Society Organisations should join hands together to achieve our desired goal.
Vice President of HERICOUN, Ratan observed that the territorial integrity of the state is still at stake.
We all have to stay alert to counter any threat posed on the territorial integrity of the state.
He also pointed out the need to bring up and encourage those leaders who sincerely care for the people as the state is filled with different types of issues which creep up every now and then.
Volunteers of different organizations and other individuals were also present at the function during which the congregation observed silence for two minute as mark of respect to the martyrs who led down their lives for the sake of the motherland.
