Imphal, December 10:
While appealing to the KLA to release the three PHED employees at the earliest the Imphal Bazar Communities Board also lamented that innocent public had to suffer due to agitation by the PHED employees to protest the abduction of their colleague.
Sharing agony of the affected families and relatives the Board further desired that taking into account hardships faced by the general public due to shortage of water the strikers need to reconsider their action and forcing people to consume untreated water might led to outbreak of mass water borne diseases.
Meanwhile, Students Federation of India Manipur State Committee, Communist Party of India Manipur State Committee and All Manipur Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Workers and Employees' Union fervently appealed for safe and unconditional release of the three PHED employees.
