A Joint meeting of the Government officials and the representatives of civil organisations was held at the Hawa Mahal of Moreh Police today to discuss the issue related to outbreak of Dengue fever in the border town.
Precided jointly by ADC Hopeson Chothe and SDPO Moreh Police M Ra-meshor was also attended State Malaria Officer (NVB-DCP) H Nimaichand, State Entomologist (NVBDCP) Y Krisna Singh, Biologist T Kamini, CMO Government of India Dr N Inaobi, DMO Chandel Kh Indra, Superintendent of Moreh Hospital Dr Y Mani, Joint Secretary of MCM N Inaocha, general secretary of Tamil Sangam V Rabichandra, president of MMCM Md Nahamacha and members of HTC.
The meeting resolved to intensify the ongoing fogging exercise to prevent breeding of Aedes mosquito which is the carrier of the virus causing Dengue as well as to spread awareness of the disease among the people.
