Imphal, February 07 2010:
Around 150 goods laden trucks have been reportedly stranded at Mao Gate and Khuzuma as a result of the economic blockade being enforced by Senapati District Students' Association (SDSA) along the National Highway 39 .
According to information received by the press, around Imphal-bound 50 goods laden trucks have been stranded at Mao Gate while around 100 at Khuzuma for the last 4 days.
Among other demands, student body has enforced the blockade demanding improvement of the National Highway in some portion of Senapati district.
