Imphal, May 02 2009:
34 Assam organised a medical camp at Thoubal Wangmataba yesterday.
Two doctors of the unit treated over 500 patients from Thoubal Wangmataba, Thoubal Khunou, Bishen Samlok, Kabra, Kar bikhong, Phoudel and Yuiew.
Majority of the patients were treated for common diseases like Vitamin deficiency, water borne diseases, scabies fungal infection and malnutrition.
AR also provide free medicines and refreshments to the locals during the camp.
The locals were thankful to the unit for organising the camp and urged upon the AR authority to conduct more such camps for the benefit of the rural population and weaker sections of the society.
