Aryans announces Rs 1.5 lakh scholarship scheme

Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh today launched a special scholarship scheme for 50 meritorious students of Manipur.
The scholarship scheme was announced during a press conference at Manipur Press Club, Imphal today.
Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman of Aryans Group of Colleges, while addressing media persons said that Aryans Group of Colleges will provide scholarship of Rs 1.5 lakh each to 50 meritorious students of the State.
The scholarship will be awarded to the students after completing their Engineering course at Aryans campus, Chandigarh.
Dr Kataria said that Dr Kiran Bedi, 1st woman IPS Officer visited Manipur with Aryans team members about 3 years ago and launched this scholarship for the needy and deserving students of North Eastern States.
Amanpreet Singh, Coordinator, Aryans Group said that in the wake of inadequate educational opportunities for the students of the North Eastern States of the country, Aryans Group would also provide scholarships in various courses offered in Aryans like BTech, BTech, MBA, BBA, BCA, BCom, BA, BEd, GNM, Polytechnic Diploma etc.
Aryans campus is located in Chandigarh�Patiala highway, near Chandigarh.
Aryans Group has been serving the educational and intellectual interests of the youth in a commendable manner.
The group runs a Management College, Business School, Engineering College, Education College, Degree College, Nursing College and Junior Science College.
Aryans Group has been awarded "Excellence in Education" by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, former President of India, Sh Parkash Singh Badal, Chief Minister of Punjab, Sh Shivraj V Patil, Governor of Punjab, Dr Kiran Bedi, first woman IPS Officer of India, S Joginder Singh, Ex-Director, CBI.
The Group has also been honoured "Excellence in career building" by Dr Shashi Tharoor, former Union Minister.
