'Politics should not be made a dirty game'

Politics is not a dirty game but when the people itself involved in it becomes polluted, it becomes a dirty and evil game, BJP candidate of Lhungjang DCC under Saikul AC Ngamtinmang Haokip asserted.
The candidate was speaking at the interaction program organized by civil society organizations of Sadar Hills under the banner of Kuki Inpi, Sadar Hills at Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council conference hall, Kangpokpi today under the theme 'Know your leader', our correspondent reports.
While underlining the need for healing the political culture, Ngamtinmang Haokip said the power to rethink a situation is the greatest tool for transforming and healing the current political culture.
SAHILCA president Tongpu Kipgen, Sir Nehlun Foundation president Nehthang Kipgen and Kuki Inpi, Sadar Hills president Seikhomang Khongsai also spoke on the occasion.
KSO, Sadar Hills president along with other CSO leaders interacted with the participating candidates in the presence of Kuki Inpi, Sadar Hills, SAHILCA and other CSOs within Sadar Hills.
All the participating candidates were blessed by Reverend Y Haokip at the function.
