A drawing competition was organised at Kakching by 21 Assam Rifles of Headquarters 9 Sector under IGAR (S) on December 11 as a part of 'Perception Management Campaign' and an objective of ushering an era of peace and ecological consciousness amongst the children of Manipur, said a release.
After the that event got an overwhelming response with 150 children of Kakching and adjoining places taking part prizes were distributed by the officiating Commandant of 21 AR, the release added.
Meanwhile, 34 Assam Rifles organised a free veterinary aid camp at yairipok village of Thoubal district on December 11 .
Special veterinary cover was provided in co-ordination with 3 Army Dog Unit and 14 MFVHs during the camp where about 760 animals from the villages of Bamon Leikai, Yambem, Pechi, Bengi, Wangkhem, Kekru, Top Chingtha, Angtha, Tulihal, Sekmai, Bishnunaha and Khoirom were treated for various diseases.
