Imphal, October 03:
The Kuki Revolutionary Army has extended the deadline set to the drivers' union to meet them by another day.
The outfit had earlier set October 3 as the deadline to meet them in connection with the abduction of Sahauddin, a driver who is in the custody of the KRA.
Sahauddin was taken captive from near Khakatti in Assam last month.
A spokesman of the KRA said that the deadline was extended as the drivers had sought to know which the union the outfit wanted to meet.
The spokesman explained that the union they were referring to was the All Manipur Petroleum Tankers' Driver Union, Sangakpham.
Sounding a stern warning, the spokesman said that the union members should come by the appointed date if they want to save the abducted driver or else face the consequences.
