SDSA distributes foods, sprays disinfectants

Senapati, April 12 2020:
Senapati District Student's Association (SDSA) has distributed food items to stranded students living in rent and hostels.
SDSA volunteers led by Hopeson Mao and Pung Mark along with other officials visited rented houses of some students and donated the food items.
The SDSA and Thangal Students Union in a joint effort sprayed disinfectants in public areas and waste disposal sites.
The team began spraying disinfectants from Chungaobung area till Senapati DHQ town areas.
It has also thanked the PHE Minister for providing equipment and bleaching powders.
Continuing the gesture of extending help in the midst of National lockdown, the BIPL and Maram Students Union (MKS) provided food items to villagers of 'New-Magaimei', a village located along Maram-Peren Road which is some 10 km away from NH-2 .
On Saturday noon, MKS carried out the second round of sanitation through spraying of disinfectants in public spaces and streets to fight COVID-19 pandemic at Maram areas.
The Maram students body has extended special gratitude to Losii Dikho for providing necessary equipment.
