State health and Family Welfare Minister, Ph Parijat today held a consultative meeting with the officials of the Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS), Porompat over the complaints of not availing medicines to the people below the property line which would be supply free of cost.
The meeting held at the office room of the medical superintendent of the hospital in which director AD Singh and medical officer Dr S Ibomcha and other officials of the hospital.
In the meeting, minister put down many questions with regard to the complaints of non-availability.
The minister convened the meeting immediately after he personally met with the patients in the hospital.
Later, speaking to reporters, minister asserted that as per the guidelines laid by authority of the government of India, medicines should be supply to the patients of family of the BPL treated in the government run hospitals and other facilities.
The same was launched from March in the JNIMS hospital.
The meeting also discussed the materialization of the scheme effectively.
