SH auto operators help orphans

As part of its annual picnic cum advent Christmas celebration Sadar Hills Auto Owners' Association today paid a visit to four orphanage centres in Sadar Hills, two at Kanglatongbi and one each at Sapormeina and Kangpokpi, and donated one bag of rice to each of the centres apart from making individual donation to the orphanage.
The Association comprising of 108 members assembled at Thomas Ground this morning along with their vehicles before being flagged off by its president Sehbem Kipgen after a prayer.
They marched within Kangpokpi spreading message of love, unity and peace to the communities settled in the town before heading towards Agape Children Home at Kangpokpi where they met and interacted with the children as well as extended donations.
Similar activities marked their visits to Sapormeina and Kanglatongbi orphanage centres.
The party later went to Koubru Leikha river bed for their annual picnic party where they sung Christmas songs, held recreational activities as well as conducted a condolence service for the departed members of the Association.
They also organised a Christmas Carol from Gamgiphai to Taphou Kuki in the evening to spread message of Love of the Lord Jesus Christ in the areas.
The Association consists members from different communities such as Kuki, Naga, Nepali, Meetei and others.
