Class X exam results likely by June 2

Results of the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination 2017 conducted by Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BOHSEM) may be declared by June 2 .
According to a highly placed source, evaluation of answer sheets of the examination has been completely finished and hectic process is going on for listing top 25 position holders.
The process will be completed within a week and subsequently results of the examination will be declared by June 2 .
It may be mentioned that on account of the 11th State Assembly election, HSLC examination for this year commenced from March 17, a little bit late as compared to past years.
Examination for private candidates concluded on March 30 while examination for regular and external candidates ended on April 4 .
It is still not clear whether the inquiry committee formed by the State Government to probe the alleged malpractice committed by a private teacher in evaluation of answer sheets for Mathematics paper has submitted its report or not.
The malpractice was raised by Kangleipak Student's Association (KSA) .
Principal Secretary, Education (S) Vineet Joshi issued on order on May 3 last forming a three-member inquiry committee with L Nandakumar Singh, Deputy Secretary (Education-S); Ph Nandakumar Sharma, retired Joint Secretary, BOSEM and Sh Bimolchand as its convener and members respectively.
As per the order, the committee was supposed to submit its report within a week.
