Left begins agitation against price rise, corruption

Imphal, July 15 2011:
Left parties in the state, CPI (M), CPI, Forward Bloc and RSP have began an agitation against corruption and price rise today at Aribam Mandav, Singjamei Thongam Leikai.
The agitation will continue till July 22 .
CPI State Secretary Dr M Nara, Langol Iboyaima, L Sotinkumar, Sarat Salam of CPI (M), president of Senior Citizens' for SocietyN Binoy and H Jayenta were among others who attended the meet.
Left Parties have been demanding to set up a National Judicial Commission, enact the Lokpal Bill, stern action in 2G spectrum issue, reformation of the electoral system, implementation of proportional representation and probe on black money issue and a corruption free and
peaceful society.
