Distribution of Ayush medicines continues

With an aim to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic successfully in the State, Committee on COVID-19 Manipur has been spreading awareness to the general public to stay protected from the dreaded virus.
In continuation of such initiatives, in a bid to maintain the well being of the people and to strengthen their immunity, the committee distributed Ayush-64 tablets, face masks and hand sanitizers to Covid Care Centres, Community Home Isolation Centres, local Covid Task Forces, local clubs and meira paibis in various places across the State today.
The items were distributed at various areas of Imphal East, Kakching, Thoubal and Bishnupur districts today, said a press release by the committee which has been formed by CADA, UPF, NIPCO, AMSU, UPACO and MAPI Council.

In today's distribution programme, Ayush tablets of around 1,595 persons were distributed in association with Directorate of Ayush and the team of the committee also interacted with local volunteers regarding the various Covid precautionary measures taken up by them during this crucial phase.
Imphal West District United Clubs Organization (IWDUCO) distributed Ayush medicines provided by the Directorate of Ayush at various places under its jurisdiction today under the aegis of All Manipur United Clubs Organisation (AMUCO) .
In a press release, IWDUCO said that the medicines were handed over to the respective local associations of Naoremthong Takyel Khongbal, Konjeng Leikai, Takyel Khongbal Mayai Leikai, Mongsangei, Lourembam Leikai and Konjeng Awang Leikai to be distributed in every households.
President of IWDUCO, Khaidem Heramani Khaba, vice president, Salam Tombi, general secretary Karam Momocha and other members attended the distribution drive, added the statement.
