Several organisations and individuals continue to extend condolences at the demise of distinguished individuals over the past few days.
The Konthoujam Block Congress Committee mourned the sudden demise of veteran Congressman and former Minister W Brajabidhu Singh and stated that his demise is an irreparable loss for the State.
The executive members of Breastfeeding Promotion Alliance of Manipur (BPAM) held an online condolence meeting yesterday to condole the demise of W Brajabidhu Singh and observed two minute silence as a mark of respect to the departed soul.
BPAM in a statement said that he has been a huge physical and mental support for the last 20 years on the cause of breastfeeding and complementary feeding (infant and young feeding).
The Pioneer Club Lamdeng, the Lamdeng Lai Khurembi Seva Committee and the Rural United Clubs Organisation (RUCO) Lamsang also expressed grief at the demise of W Brajabidhu Singh and prayed that the departed soul may rest in peace.
The Zeliangrong Youth Front (ZYF) condoled the untimely demise of Guangkhonlung Gonmei who was the general secretary of ZYF Luangchum Zone.
In a condolence message, ZYF remembered him as a sincere and committed leader who rendered selfless service for the Zeliangrong people during his lifetime and shared the grief of the bereaved family and prayed that the departed soul may rest in peace.
Coalition Against Drugs and Alcohol (CADA) expressed sorrow at the sudden demise of Sagolsem Hemanta, noted journalist and former president of All Manipur Working Journalist Union (AMWJU) and stated his demise will leave an irreparable void.
CADA in another condolence message condoled the untimely demise of Moirangthem ongbi Sana from Kakching Turel Wangma Ningthou Pareng due to COVID-19 CADA stated that she contributed majorly in the activities of CADA, Thoubal District Committee in the fight against drug abuse.
CADA also shared the grief of the bereaved family and prayed that the departed soul may rest in peace.
Laimanai Youth Club Yairipok condoled the demise of of its patron member, its former president and former Media Officer of Family Welfare Department, Government of Manipur, Laishram Shyamkishore.
Paragon Club Cum Information Centre condoled the sudden demise of Thangjam Rameshwor, former Joint Secretary, COHSEM, a resident' of Khurai Sajor Leikai on May 31.The members of the club observed a two minute silence for the departed soul to rest in peace and also shared the grief of the bereaved family.
