District Hospital Kangpokpi authority expresses gratitude

Kangpokpi, May 18 2021: District Hospital Kangpokpi authority extended gratitude to Dr Elangbam Bishwajeet, Consultant Emergency Medicine, Birmingham, UK and his friends from across the world for donating essential medical items to the District Hospital Kangpokpi.

Dr Paotinlal Haokip, Medical Superintendent of District Hospital Kangpokpi said that Dr Elangbam Bishwajeet and his friends from Manipur, Tripura, Bangalore, Malaysia, UAE, Switzerland, Netherlands, Italy, France and Britain donated COVID-19 related essential medical item to the District Hospital Kangpokpi which was received today.

He said that the essential medical items includes 1000 surgical face masks (triple layer), 50 N95 face mask, 100 Oxygen Mask (adult), 100 Infusion Set, 100 IV Cannula, 125 Cannula Fixator, 200 Inj Dexona, 100 Normal Saline and 100 Ringer Lactate.

Appreciating the benevolent act of Dr Elangbam Bishwajeet and his friends, Dr Paotinlal Haokip said that such exemplary humanitarian activities will give a strong message to the public to donate generously to the local hospital and COVID-19 pandemic related activities in particular in future.

He further wished success to Dr Elangbam Bishwajeet and his friends in their future humanitarian endeavours.
