AR provides medical assistance

Khoupum Battalion under the aegis of IGAR (South) extended life-saving medical assistance to a snake bite victim of Ngaikhong village, Bishnupur district, Manipur on July 24 .
A 52 years old male was bitten by a venomous snake on July,24 and was rushed by villagers to N Khunou Company Operating Base of Assam Rifles, said a statement of IGAR(S) .
The Assam Rifles medical centre immediately rendered life saving medical care to the patient to stabilize his condition and was further referred to RIMS, Imphal for further treatment.
Similarly, Chandel Battalion under the aegis of IGAR(South) extended life saving medical assistance to a grievously injured person of Tangjing Khunou village on July 23 .
A 37 year old man was injured while working at a sawmill in Thingphai village of Moltuk, Chandel district.
The injured individual was brought to the Company Operating Base of Assam Rifles and was immediately rendered life saving medical care by the medical staff adhering to all necessary COVID protocols.
Later, the patient was referred to Raj Medicity hospital for further treatment.
The villagers expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Assam Rifles for their assistance given at the critical stage.
