Imphal, September 28 2021: Kishan Laishram, who is the booth level agent of Polling Station No 33/28 under Heirok assembly constituency, has demanded that the government take action against a booth level officer (BLO) for deleting names of newly married women from the electoral rolls by forging theirs and their parents' signatures.

Speaking at Manipur Press Club here on Tuesday, Kishan contended that Polling Station No.33/28 of Heirok AC BLO Thokchom Nimai has deleted names of women, who got married just a week or month ago, from electoral rolls without informing them by forging their signatures and of their fathers.

He urged authorities concerned to terminate service of the booth level officer or suspend him, in view of his transgressions.
