Distribution of relief items continues

Tbl/Bpr, June 02 2021: In continuation of the assistance provided to the people, Lilong Imphal West Municipal Council ex Chairperson, L Lalmani in association with Covid-19 Task Force Committee Ward No 8 distributed essential food items to about 700 households of Langthabal Kunj a Awang Leikai Ward no 8 today.

Speaking on the occasion, L Lalmani stated that the food items were distributed to support the families suffering due to the imposition of curfew by the State Government and assured to provide similar assistance in the future.

He further appealed to the public to follow all the SOPs mandated by the Government and assist in the fight against the pandemic.

The publicity team of Moirang AC COVID-19 Awareness cum Enforcement Committee chaired by Moirang AC MLA also distributed essential food items to 50 households of Moirang Essential food items were distributed today to the households of Moirang Thana Leikai, Moirang Sribon, Moirang Mairembam Leikai College Gate, Phiwangbam Leikai, Turenbal, Kiyam, Hemam, Kumam, Ngangkhalawai, Patlou and Sunushiphai.

It was participated by the members of the Publicity team, Hemam Somikanta, Sapam Bonison, Kumam Chitrasen and L Boy.

Similarly, Shanjoy Ahanthem, vice president BJP Bishnupur District distributed essential food items to 50 households in the containment zone of Napat Thongkha and Napat Mayai Leikai under Kumbi Assembly Constituency today.

He also provided one Infrared Thermometer, two pulse oximeters, two vaporizer steamers, PPE kits and medicines to the Community Home Isolation Center in New Model School.
