Imphal, December 02 2011:
The Coordination Committee (CorCom) of KCP, KYKL, PREPAK, PREPAK (Pro), RPF, UNLF and UPPK have condemned in the strongest term the November 30 bomb blast in front of the main gate of Manipur Sangai Tourism Festival.
A press release issued by the committee clarified that the bomb attack had nothing to do with any of their
constituent parties.
Stating no revolutionary groups struggling for the cause of the people would commit such heinous crime, it alleged that the bomb attack was planned by security forces and their collaborators with an ulterior motive to project the liberation movement of Manipur in the wrong light before the international community.
The only way for the people to protect themselves from such sinister conspiracy of the alien rule is to identify the enemies and uproot them in association with the revolutionary groups.
Referring to its call for general strike from 4 am of December 3 till 4 pm of December 4, the committee informed that the hours of general strike has been shortened to 6 pm of December 3 only.
