MDPF lays down its agenda

Laying down its agenda for the forthcoming general election scheduled to be held sometime in February next year, the Manipur Democratic People's Front has come out with certain points so that a change can be brought about in the State.
The points which were worked out after a meeting of the party on November 30 with its president, Dr Tonsana in the chair asserted that the MDPF is the only party which can address major issues in the State including removal of corruption, AFSPA and revival of the Inner Line Permit System.

The party also pledged to protect the territorial integrity of the State and seek solutions to the myriad of issues including blockades on the lifelines.
Other points included making the people aware of the election code of conduct.
