State student selected for UNAI Fellowship

Imphal, August 22 2022:
Laishram Yashmine Devi, an undergraduate student at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (USER) has been selected for the prestigious Millennium Fellowship presented by United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) and Millennium Campus Network (MCN) .
Yashmine is the daughter of Laishram Pritam Singh and Nirmala Devi of Moidangpok, Imphal West district.
The United Nations Academic Impact and the MCN presents the millennium fellowship to make the undergraduate students around the world meaningfully engage to advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of UN.
Yashmine was selected out of 30,000 applicants, including from 2400 campuses of around 140 nations.
Out of these, 200 campuses worldwide (just 8 per cent) have been selected to host 3000 Millennium fellows in 2022 .
