BGVS & Aid India distributes relief materials

In view of the containment measures in Senapati headquarters and other town areas of the district due to surge in Covid-19 positive cases affecting many people, different NGOs, organisations and personalities have started distributing relief materials at different places of the district since past few days back.
Funded by Aid India, Bharat Gyan Vigyan Samiti (BGVS), Manipur (All India Education and Science Forum) distributed food items to most needy people of two different colonies at Senapati headquarters.
BGVS, Manipur president Rollen Dumai stated that the food items were distributed under their Covid Relief Initiative "Reach the poorest and provide the best".
The two organisations distributed five kg of rice each, one kg of pulse each to selected 30 beneficiaries of TNK, Senapati village and another 30 at District Council, Poulea village along with some face masks and hand sanitizers.
Later in the afternoon, the two organisations also donated some PPEs, hand sanitizers, masks and hand gloves to Poumai Naga Covid Task Force.
