Imphal, October 14 2016:
Accusing the BJP Government at the Centre of planting a time bomb with a sinister design to disintegrate Manipur, Congress MLA RK Anand has called upon the people to teach BJP a befitting lesson.
He was speaking at the inaugural function of a newly constructed multipurpose community hall at Malom Tuliyaima Awang Leikai.
BJP ticket aspirants would be appreciated by the masses if they go to Delhi and try to find out the details of the Framework Agreement signed between the Government of India and NSCN-IM, Anand said.
BJP knows the details of the agreement but they are not divulging it to the people, he alleged.
BJP does not respect the sentiments of Manipur and they have been conspiring to re-write the history of Manipur after distorting the 2000 years old history of Manipur.
BJP has been going together with NPF which has been demanding integration of Naga inhabited areas.
As such, BJP is also one active agent which has been working to disintegrate Manipur, charged the MLA.
One cannot save Manipur by hopping from one political party to another.
BJP should stop challenging the territorial integrity of Manipur, Anand asserted.
He also expressed astonishment over the emergence of a power-hungry, irresponsible people to contest Assembly election in Naoriya Pakhanglakpa AC.
Kodompokpi Zilla Parishad Member L Surchandra and Pradhan K Ibeyaima too spoke at the gathering.
