Government effects posting/assignment of top officers

Imphal, August 27 2021:
The state government on Friday ordered transfer and posting of 20 officers including four IAS, one IPS, 12 MCS, two MFS and one CEO with immediate effect.
As per separate orders issued by the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms, IAS officers N Bandana Devi has given additional charge as additional secretary of Fisheries apart from the Education-S/Transport additional secretary, Neeta Arambam posted as MPSC secretary and Ng Roben Singh as commissioner of Taxes.
The order also posted MCS officers Hannah Kahmei as joint secretary PHED, Veterinary & Animal Husbandry, Skill, Labour, Employment and Entrepreneurship; Selina Thounaojam as additional secretary of MPSC; Stiff Khapudang as ADC Noney; N Shokongam Baite as SAT additional director; Rang David Kung as CEO Autonomous District Council Senapati in-charge; HL Christian Home as SDO/BDO Phaibung; and Maibam Suranjoy Singh as SDO/BDO Ukhrul.
The order issued by DP deputy secretary Ph Bhavananda Sharma also entrusted ADGP L Kailun (IPS) in charge of nodal officer for Law and Order, VM and District Security Plan and excise commissioner B John Tlangtinkhuma as nodal officer for Excise in connection with the upcoming state assembly election.
Other officers assigned charges for the elections included treasury joint director Konsam Binku as nodal officer for Expenditure Management; FO Churachandpur Ngangbam Rajesh (expenditure management); DP deputy secretary Laishram Radhakanta Singh (nodal officer for voter helpline, complaint and e-vigil); Health and F&W deputy secretary Yumnam Suraj Singh (nodal officer for Observers); Transport deputy secretary Dr Mayengbam Veto Singh (Transport management); IPR additional director Waikhom Phajatombi (media); MAHUD deputy secretary Mohd Yasser Ahmed Khan (nodal officer for Model Code of Conduct); and EO/CEO Binod Salam (welfare of polling personnel) .
