Covid-19: Relief items, ayush medicines distributed

Imphal, August 07 2021:
Under the sponsorship of former MLA of Patsoi assembly constituency Sapam Kunjakishore (Keba), Covid-19 relief items were distributed to residents of Sagolband Tera Loukham Leirak and Takyel Kolom Leikai through the respective local clubs on Saturday.
Keba, who is currently in Delhi, assured to extend help to people of his constituency to mitigate their suffering owing to the pandemic situation.
Meanwhile, Imphal West District United Clubs' Organisation (IWDUCO) distributed AYUSH medicines provided by Directorate of AYUSH director Dr A Guneshwor Sharma to 3000 people of Imphal West district on Friday.
In a release, IWDUCO informed that a team comprising its president Khaidem Heramani Khaba, vice president Salam Tombi, general secretary Karam Momocha and assistant finance secretary Wangkhem Menao distributed the medicines to Takyel Khongbal Progressive Youth Association (TPYA), Naoramthong Takyel Khongbal; Waisellakpa Iduningthou Lamjing Lup (WILL), Konjeng Leikai Mongsangei; Takyel United Progressive Organisation (TUPO), Takyel Khongbal Mayai Leikai; The Sun Club Mongsangei; Development and Cultural Association (DACA), Lourembam Leikai and Awang Kongjeng Youth Organisation (AKYO).
The medicines were distributed under the aegis of All Manipur United Clubs' Organisation (AMUCO), it said.
Youth's Foundation for Fitness and Service (YOFFS) Manipur and AMUCO also provided 500 pieces of Arsenic album 30 and AYUSH 64 tablets which can be used by 2000 people to Covid-19 Task Force and meira paibi groups of Chana village, Nongren Meira Paibi Lup secretary Ch Renu and other members for distribution amongst people and to Nongren Chingnungkhok Gram Panchayat pradhan Mayangiangbam (o) Bilashini along with denizens of Nongpok Kakching, a release by YOFFS general secretary Kh Ramananda Singh conveyed.
Similarly, Committee on Covid-19, Manipur; a joint body of CADA, UPF, NIPCO, AMSU, UPACO and MAPI Council in collaboration with Directorate of AYUSH distributed AYUSH 64 tablets to 1595 people along with face masks, hand sanitizers to Covid Care Centres (CCCs), Community Home Isolation Centres (CHICs), local Covid Task Force and local club/meira paibi organisations on Saturday.
In a release, Committee on Covid-19, Manipur media coordinator Geetchandra Mangang informed that the medical aid was provided to Covid Task Forces of Thiyam Konjil and Nongpok Keithelmanbi and Nungbrung village in Imphal East district; LEWA Club Lamding, Thoubal Municipal Council Ward No 8 member, Covid Task Force Thoubal Athokpam, Super Star Club Ward No 4 Thoubal Municipal Council, SSDC Thoubal Mayai Leirak Ward No.9 in Thoubal district; Wabagai Awang Leikai Covid Task Force; Sugnu CHIC in Kakching district and Laingoubi Youth Development Organisation in Bishnupur district.
