Many wish on Eid

CAF & PD Minister Karam Shyam extended his warm wishes and greetings to the people of Manipur, particularly Muslim brethren on the occasion of Eid-ul-Zuha, which falls on August 12.In his message, K Shyam urged all to reach out to their friends, families, colleagues and loved ones with love and compassion.
"May this festival strengthen our faith in God and light up our world with countless blessings", the Minister prayed.
Communist Party of India, Manipur State Council too conveyed their heartiest greeting to the people of Manipur on the occasion of Eid-ul-Zuha.
Conveying that the festival, which is celebrated as a festival of sacrifice, is one of the most important festivals for Muslim community, the party prayed for peaceful and prosperous Manipur.
United Committee Manipur (UCM) greeted the people of Manipur, specially Muslim brethren on the joyous occasion of Eid-ul-Zuha.
Stating that Eid Ul Zuha is celebrated with dedication and enthusiasm by the Muslim community throughout the world, UCM also prayed that the festival may bring peace and prosperity to the State.
Wishing the people of Manipur on the joyous occasion of Eid Ul Zuha, All Meitei Pangal Students' Union of Manipur (AMPSUM) appealed all concerned to refrain from imposing bandh or strike on August 12 to ensure smooth celebration of the festival.
The Manipur Muslim Welfare Organisation (MMWO) and Manipuri Muslim Unification and Upliftment Organisation (MMSUUO) also greeted all the followers of Islam faith across the globe a "Happy Eid-Ul-Zuha" .
