'Left out of Minister's posts not a problem'

It is not unreassuring for the Congress MLAs who are left out of the Ministry's expansion and port folio allocation, RK Anand, Congress MLA from Naoriya Pakhanglakpa said.
He was speaking at the felicitation ceremony of the MLA and national awardee W Memmi organised by the Heinoukhongnembi Development Committee at Nongsaba Club's ground.
He urged the Ministers not to execute their respective work as a contractor while also urging them not to act according to their whims and fancy.
He also maintained that the Ministers should consult the MLAs so that the people's needs are addressed.
The MLA further said that the mandate of the people in recent Assembly election says something about the people's feeling toward the undergrounds, RK Anand, MLA of Naoriya Pakhanglakpa AC said.
RK Anand said, the feat achieved by the Congress in the recent Assembly election amidst the boycott call and threats from some quarters speaks volume about the people's faith and trust on the party.
The MLA further said that the return of four NPF's MLA in the Assembly election hinted that most of the hill brethrens want to live in coexistence with other communities of the State.
Keeping his earlier promises, Anand further assured to work for the repeal of AFSPA, and protection of the territorial integrity of the State.
The felicitation programme was attended by the president of Heinoukhongnembi Development Committee, W Angoumacha and RK Usharani as the president and guest of honour respectively.
