Over 100 BSF personnel escape using human shields

The BSF and MPLF battle which began on January 8 morning is still continuing.
Heavy reinforcement has been sent to Sajik Tampak area.
Security personnel are pouring in at Keithelmanbi, Serou Lamkhai, Sajik area.
The Manipur People�s Liberation Front (MPLF) today said that it is ready to face any challenge and is preparing for the next battle.
It claimed that no one from its side was injured.
Last night, MPLF forces attacked at the MR post at Irilbung, AR post at Keirak, AR post at Khongjom, CRPF camp at Loktak Project, BSF camp located at Moirang power station, Sangaikot, BSF and AR convoy at Sugnu and Wabagai and Thinungei.
Yesterday about 100 jawans of BSF were surrounded by MPLF cadres at Pardai village.
Today early morning all of them escaped the village using human shields.
The MPLF statement said it did not fire as the villagers could have been injured in the firing.
Meanwhile AK Pakhangba, Home secretary of KCP in a statement said there are many other organizations besides the three constituents of MPLF.
There is a need for the other organizations to become a part of the MPLF, it said.
