Equipments demonstrated

A one-day training programme with demonstration on security surveillance and rescue equipments was held at the training hall of Manipur Fire Services here today.
The programme was jointly organized by Manipur Fire Services and Solaroy Engineers Private Limited, Mumbai.
Deputy Manager of Solaroy Engineers Private Limited, Northeast Zone Ashok Mukherjee demonstrated certain high-tech equipments for rescue and surveillance purposes.
Some of the equipments were hydraulic cutter which can cut metal sheet of 25 mm thickness within few seconds, hardened mobile trace detector which can easily detect explosive devices fitted in vehicles and high power binoculars which can clearly zoom in objects lying at a distance of about four/five kilometres.
The programme was also attended by Director of Manipur Fire Service Kh Chandramani, Principal Secretary Dr Suhail Akhtar, IG (LO) L Kailun, DIG Range-I Clay Khongsai, DIG Range-IV S Ibocha, Chandel SP E Priyokumar and other officials of police and disaster management department.
