Question Hour:: Power connection given to 425 mobile towers: Ibobi

Chief Minister Okram Ibobi, who is also in-charge of the Power Department, has informed that the Power Department has given connection to 425 mobile towers in the State.
He was replying to a query raised by MLA Th Bishwajit regarding power connection of mobile towers in the State in the Assembly today.
Answering to another question asked by MLA RK Imo, Chief Minister Ibobi said that there is no proposal for development of Second World War tourist spots as of now, but the State government has discussed the matter.
Replying to MLA Nunghlung Victor, Health Minister Phungzathang said that work order has been issued for the construction of a nursing school at Chandel district headquarters.
MLA Joykishan asked whether the memorial park of SDO Kishan and his two subordinate staffs would be constructed as per the demand of the Joint Action Committee.
Chief Minister Ibobi replied that the government has not yet decided as of now, but it would consider taking up something for the slain SDO and his two staffs.
Replying to MLA P Brojen, Fisheries Minister Abdul Nasir said that there are three fishing lakes in the State and the government would take up new schemes to augment production of fishes.
Answering to MLA K Sarat, Chief Minister Ibobi said that there is no plan for taking up water harvest scheme at Eyei (Tubul) River Bank.
Replying to MLA Laisom Ibomcha, CADA Minister Phungzathang Tonsing said that there are seven Assistant Engineers in the department out of which two are on regular basis and the remaining five as in-charge.
