Rail worker dies

Imphal, June 24 2013:
A supervisor of a private company engaged in construction of Jiri-Tupul railway under NF Railway died when hit by a 10-wheeler truck yesterday.
A source said the incident occurred at Kaimai in Tamenglong district around 10.30 am yesterday.
The man died instantly at the spot.
The deceased has been identified as Udaya Singh (43) of Sanjoy Garh, Rajasthan.
He is a Supervisor of Bharatiya Construction Ltd.
The body was handed over to the authority concerned after conducting post mortem examination at RIMS today.
