Imphal, August 04 2020:
The Manipur Chemists and Druggists Association (MCDA) today appealed for cooperation from the public as well as the Government.
The MCDA, in a statement, said the staff and people who are working at various pharmacies and wholesale stores are facing various problems hindering their services of selling medicines.
Unavailability of fuel openly is causing problems in transportation while some staff of pharmacies and wholesale stores have also tested positive.
Lack of support from the family members and localities treating them in a suspicious manner are some problems that are causing inconveniences in opening the shops, MCDA said.
Stating that customers disobeying WHO and Government guidelines is another added problem, MCDA appealed to people to stop panic buying of medicine.
MCDA also appealed to wholesalers and retail shops to remain open for the sake of people.
