Bishnupur, August 01 2019: 15 artistes of All Moirang Cultural Association who represented Manipur at the 4th All India Sanskritik Competition/Festival were feted today at Moirang Konung (Kangla) Conference Hall, Bishnupur district.

The troupe bagged first position in the festival organised jointly by Sanskritik Prashikshan Kendra Dhanbad and Prayag Sangeet Samiti Allahabad from July 20 to 22 at Jharkhand.

The felicitation programme organised by Thangjing Yageirel Marup Moirang was attended by secretary Historical Heritage Development Association Moirang K Mohonchandra Singh, president Thangjing Yageirel Marup Moirang M Nodia, president Moirang Artist Association Babudhon Singh, president Chingu Thangjing Women Cultural Association Moirang Ph Ibemcha, secretary Chingu Thangjing Women Cultural Association Moirang M Ibetombi Devi and secretary The Thangjing Art and Cultural Academy M Prome Devi as dignitaries.

Members of the troupe secured the first position for their dance "Phisha Amadi Keipha" .

15 troupes from across the State participated in the event.

The troupe of the All Moirang Cultural Association was led by Ph Ibungo.

Thangjing Yageirel Marup secretary RK Kheda Singh lauded the troupe for their achievement and wished the best for their future endeavours.
