AR provides medical aid

Timely administered first aid by Sehlon Battalion of 28 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (South) saved the life of a boy named Ginkolal (13) of M Gumnom village, Chandel district to the injuries inflicted while cleaning bamboo fields today.
The individual was first registered with first aid and the wound was sutured.
Then, the boy was administered a total of five stitches and various other required injections making his condition stable.
Continuous medical dressing will be provided to the individual on alternate days and the same was also conveyed to the father of the boy.
The family members of the boy have appreciated and thanked the whole-hearted and timely efforts of the Assam Rifles, said a press release issued by IGAR.
