Continuing its humanitarian service, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) today provided six desktop computers with complete accessories worth Rs 1,71,000 to MBC Higher Secondary School, Khongnang Karak and Mt Hermon School, Mapao Khullen, PS Sekmai.
The humanitarian aids were distributed during a function held at HQr 143 Bn CRPF at Lamphelpat, opposite to DC Office with DIG Imphal Range HQr, CRPF Manipur MS Raghava as chief guest.
The chief guest also distributed library books worth Rs 30,135 to the two schools and one NGO, namely Tangkhul Welfare Association, Langol apart from musical instruments worth Rs 96,256 and library books worth Rs 4744 to Networking Service for Community Participation, an NGO based at Mantripukhri and working for children/orphans affected by/with HIV/AIDS.

According to a statement issued by Commandant of 143 Bn CRPF Harjinder Singh, CRPF has an admirable track record of being a people friendly organisation during its long-lasting deployment in the North Eastern region.
The Force, while sustaining its successful counter insurgency offensives in the area, has also strived to maintain excellent public relations by undertaking various confidence building measures for the common public in the region.
