NPF District units refute allegations on State President

Naga Peoples Front (NPF) District Units in Manipur have refuted the allegations levelled against Manipur Unit President Awangbou Newmai by the three NPF Vice Presidents who have tendered their resignations from their posts.
NPF Ukhrul Division has appealed party workers to leave aside individual interests.
The party unit has asked all to remain steadfast in upholding the party principles and be prepared to contribute the best for the larger cause of the Nagas in particular and tribals in general.
"As a senior politicians the three Vice Presidents of the NPF Manipur State Unit should have known better that any differences could be sorted out through proper dialogues across the table as per the provisions of the party constitution", said general secretary NPF Ukhrul Division Sowung Woleng in a press note here on Thursday.
Taking serious note of the accusation, NPF Autonomous District Council Tamenglong members condemned allegation made by the three.
They appealed the party high command to take stringent action against the three VPs.
The ADC members lauded the hard work, political commitment and conviction of the State Unit Party President under whose able leadership, the party won in the three ADCs.
Defending Awangbou Newmai, NPF Chandel Unit termed the allegation made Aza, Ps Ngamnung Anal and K Stephenson as "baseless" .
Chandel NPF ADC members said that the party had fared well in the recently concluded ADC election 2015 under the able leadership of Newmai.
