The modern history of Manipuri society is incomplete without the chapter of AMSU, the former leader of the union said.
Referring to the recent incidents occurred at Chandel district's Moreh, Churachandpur district and Jiribam subdivision of Imphal East, he said such happenings were attempting to disrupt the people's demand for implementation of Inner Line Permit System (ILPS).
He called on the people of these areas to unite together with the rest of the communities of the State in demanding ILPS which is meant for all the indigenous groups of Manipur.
Sanasam Subhachandra said that it has become a habit of the State Government to create one issue after another.
AMSU has been continuously working for the welfare of Manipuri society irrespective of valley or hills and no community in the State should harm the territorial integrity of Manipur, urged Subhachandra.
He pledged that AMSU with the Manipuri people will always stand together against any force that tries to disturb the territorial boundary of the State.
