AR conducts medical camp

Senapati, December 01 2019:
Reaching out to remote area of Senapati district, the 34 Assam Rifles Maram Battalion on Nov 29 conducted a free medical camp at Rajaimei village under Willong sub-division.
The village with 120 households till today is without any medical facilities and centres like Primary Health Centre (PHC).
The nearest medical centre is some 20 km away in Willong Khullen along Maram-Peren road.
Appreciated and lauded by villagers, the said camp organized by 34 AR benefited the villagers who were recently inflicted by seasonal viral infections.
Led by Sangkhumei Company Commander, along with dozen of medical team, the 34 AR which gifted free solar lamps in 2018 also provided free medicines to patients.
Treating around 60 patients of Rajaimei village, the camp was held at the village community hall.
The Rajaimei village Authority expressed sincere gratitude to the 34AR medical team and CO Colonel GK Mahindra for reaching out to the villagers and providing free treatment and medicine.
