Bandh threatened

2016 Manipur Rifle Riflemen Viva Voce completed Candidates (JAC) has threatened to impose a 48 hours State wide bandh if the State Government fails to announce the result of the viva voce by July 7.This was stated by Laitonjam Kirankumar, president of the JAC in a press conference held at Manipur Press Club today.
Speaking to media persons Kirankumar stated that the notification for the recruitment of Manipur Rifles Riflemen and Manipur Police Constable for 2016 batch all came out on the same day.
The physical tests and written tests for the candidates of Manipur Rifles Riflemen and Manipur Police Constable were held on the same day but in different locations.
The result for Manipur Police Constable has already been declared and training as well as medical tests of the successful candidates have already started.
But on the other hand, the result for Manipur Rifle Riflemen has not been announced till date.
Appealing to Chief Minister N Biren and the State Government to announce the viva voce result by July 7, he warned that if the Government fails to announce the result by the said deadline, the JAC will impose a 48 hour State wide bandh from the next day, July 8 .
